Thanks for your ongoing help keeping Smithtown Hydrants clear of Snow

With some more wintry weather predicted for this week, please remember to assist the Smithtown Fire Department, and the community, by keeping the hydrant closest to your residence or business clear of snow. We need a 3' clearance on all sides to be able to adequately "hit" the hydrant in the quickest manner possible.
Please consider joining the dozens of Smithtown residents who have participated in our Adopt a Hydrant program. These residents are pledging to keep the hydrants closest to their homes free of snow.
We thank our latest "adoptees," the Baumann family on Aberdeen Road.
